Love these two!

I was just messing around with my camera today and caught these two images. I LOVE them!

Irresistible!

I am honored to have photographed my first newborn for 2008 today. He was a whopper, weighing in at nearly TEN POUNDS! He already has a double chin and little rolls. There's only one word to describe him -- irresistible!!!

Images from my December beach vacation...

As I said in an earlier post, my family and I went to Florida in December. We spent 5 days at the beach. It was pure paradise!

The beach was so crowded we could barely stand it! ;-)

The kids LOVED the ocean!!!

The sunsets were breathtaking!

The sunrises were equally breathtaking. So quiet and tranquil. Like heaven on earth for a mom of four rowdy noisy kids ;-)

Civil War

On our way back from Florida, we stopped in Savannah. We went to a very cool Civil War reenactment. If you've never been to one of these, you really should go! My kids LOVED it! The story behind the image...

I'm sure you've noticed this image in my blog header. I've had a lot of comments on this image so I thought I'd just post about it.

This is one of my favorite images EVER! My family and I took a trip to Florida in December where we met up with some friends. This is their son, H, and it was the first time we'd ever met him. This is fondly known as the "DOH!" picture LOL! H is the most adorable little boy ever. He has the most expressive personality and this photograph just captures him. He was so much fun to photograph! I wish we lived closer.

I have a large print of this photograph on my desk because his expression is so my life! I have so many "DOH!" moments!!!

Starting off with something new...

Everyone that knows me, knows that my main focus has been kids. But, as a photographer it's always fun to try something new so I tried my hand at pet photography. My brother had me take portraits of his boxers for his wife for Christmas. It was a LOT of fun! And my sister-in-law LOVED it :-)
